Give your candle some lovin'

Before each burn, make sure to trim your wick to approximately 1/4". Trimming the wick will keep the candle burning without any black soot and it will give your candle a longer burn time. You can do this by using wick trimmers, clippers or scissors.

Burning your candle for the first time is most important. Your soy candle has a memory so please allow your candle wax to melt all the way to the edge of the jar. This will ensure an even burn throughout the candle and will avoid what is known as tunneling.

Please do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. If you exceed the 4 hour burn time it will cause the jar to overheat, this will cause your candle to burn faster and you will lose valuable burn time.

Ensure you always place the candle away from flammable objects. Keep your candle away from all drafts, vents and air currents. Keep your candle up and out of reach from your little babes, and fur babies too. Never touch or move a candle while its burning or while the wax is still liquefied. It may be hot to touch!

When lighting your candle always check that no wick trimmings or used matches are in the wax. This will prevent any damage, discoloration to the wax or unnecessary smoke.

Trust me, we know. We feel it too. Its hard when its time to let go of your candle, but please stop burning your candle once there is 1/4" of wax remaining. Also, if at any time your wick becomes off center please discontinue use immediately.
